Baw Baw Shire have arranged an open meeting to discuss whether a new ECFCOM (Erica Community Facilities Committee of Management) can be formed. The meeting will be in the Erica Public Hall at 6:30 pm on Tuesday 15 October. Everybody with an interest in the control and maintenance of their community’s local facilities is encouraged to attend. As part of a state-wide maintenance program, the Victorian Government has allocated $56 558 to the Rawson Primary School to be used on urgent repairs to school facilities.

ECFCOM, Baw Baw Council’s Section 86 Committee of Management which had been managing the Shire’s public facilities in Erica failed to attract any nominations at its Annual General Meeting held in the Erica Hall on Tuesday 20 August. We have just had news that the Department of Education/Department of transport- School Bus have reviewed Bus Services and they have decided to terminate our service at the end of 2019.
With just over half of the school population currently using the service it is going to be very difficult.
Community members interested in sending in letter of objection, you have 2 weeks to do it.
